inside the can: the 12 natural ingredients that make mysa a ritual

Complexity. Balance. A little wildness. Here’s how we built a drink that doesn’t play it safe.

Some drinks aim to please.
mysa doesn’t.

It surprises. It unfolds. It lingers.
It asks your palate to pay attention.
Because when your mouth has been trained on sugar and shortcuts, tasting something real can feel a little… unfamiliar.

That first sip? It might stop you in your tracks.
There’s no syrupy comfort, no artificial ease. Just tension. Harmony. Movement. A composition of botanicals that speak softly but clearly.

mysa is crafted like a dish, not a soft drink.
Layered. Balanced. Intentionally complex.

Here’s what makes it so:

🌲 Mountain Pine: the soul of the forest

It opens the experience. Resinous, crisp, unmistakably alpine.
Like stepping into fresh air at altitude. Calming, awakening, a little wild.

mountain pine has been used in traditional European herbal medicine for centuries. modern research has identified anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial compounds in pine needle extracts. it's not just flavour. it's function.

🍊 Chinotto: the bitter backbone

A small, citrus, like an orange, with depth and heritage.
Less sunshine, more shadow. Chinotto brings tannins and tension, grounding the flavour in something complex, almost nostalgic.

🔴 Pomegranate: the quiet lift

Sharp, tart, and gently sweet, without ever tipping into excess.
It brightens the bitterness and keeps the structure supple.
The balance starts here.

pomegranate is one of the most studied fruits in nutrition science. it contains punicalagins, a type of polyphenol shown to have antioxidant activity roughly three times higher than red wine or green tea. (source: Gil et al., Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2000)

🌶 Chili: the echo

Not a shout, a murmur.
It arrives late, a soft heat at the end of the sip.
A subtle fire that hums beneath the surface and makes you want to taste again.

capsaicin, the active compound in chili, is one of the most researched bioactive ingredients in food science. studies link it to improved metabolism, reduced inflammation, and even mood elevation through endorphin release.

🍋🍊🍈 The Citrus Trio

Lemon, lime, bitter orange.
Not flashy. Not loud. But essential. They tune the blend, adding clarity, acidity, light.
Each one knows when to speak and when to stay behind the curtain.

🌀 The Others: the texture of complexity

There are twelve ingredients in total.
Each one chosen for how it plays with the rest. Not to stand out, but to complete the whole.
You won’t always notice them individually, but you’d miss them if they weren’t there.

Why it matters

mysa isn’t about flavour for flavour’s sake.
It’s about how you feel while tasting.
Curious. Awake. Present.

That’s the point of ritual.
Not escape, but arrival.
And that’s what this drink was made for.

Tastes like a forest at golden hour. Feels like a ritual worth keeping
